According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan submitted a verbal offer of €15 million plus add-ons, which was well received by Manchester City.
The Premier League giants are prepared to finalise a deal to allow Akanji to leave as part of their summer plans to refresh the squad and make space for emerging young talents.
